Perhaps you would like to try this region of France out of season or maybe you are considering looking for a house down here. As you can see, the scenery is pretty fantastic, even in the winter months.

Our two apartments, the pretty studio-apartment and spacious 2 bedroom apartment are available for rental from the beginning of September to the middle of May. We rent out for three to six month periods.

COST

Pretty Studio-Apartment for 2 -) - £360 per calendar month, £330 for single occupancy. This excellent price is based on the apartment being rented out for at least a THREE MONTH PERIOD. 

Spacious Apartment for 4 - £560 per calendar month. This excellent price is based on the apartment being rented for at least a THREE MONTH PERIOD.

Prices include all local taxes and water. Electricity and gas are charged according to usage with a meter reading being taken at the beginning and end of rental. The apartments are fully furnished and all linen is provided. As well as all the amenities listed in our summer rentals, we also provide the use of a tumble dryer. Telephone, WiFi access and bicycle hire are available for the following additional cost - Telephone- £20 per month for rental of line which includes free land line calls to most countries. WiFi access to your own laptop - £10 per month, bicycles- £20 per month per bicycle.

The apartments have double glazed windows and are heated with electric convector radiators. The terraces are well protected and provide large, very pleasant outside spaces. The apartments are next door to one another with separate front doors and terraces.

Ille-sur-Tet stays much the same all year round. The local bars stay open and the buses and trains run as usual. Bus prices in the Pyrenees-Orientales cost just 1 Euro per person per journey which is an amazing price.

In our Information File you will find descriptions of lots of walks of varying length and difficulty which will take you out of town and into the wonderful countryside.

There are many days when the sky is deep blue and the sun shines. The scenery all around the town is awe inspiring with Mount Canigou often snow-capped.

The wonderful thing about "Out of Season" is that you can always find places to sit - even in Collioure!

The roads are clear, the shops are not crowded and there is always a place to park - in fact the whole area is a joy.
